About me
My name is Wanda Rowe and I want to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. I have been married to my husband Craig for 27 years and have two great children, Cody and Andrew. We have personally lived both lives; unhealthy living reforming to the active life we have now. Over 14 years ago I didn’t always eat the healthiest way our lives were busy and convenient eating was the way to go. I was always active which I thought balanced my life and eating habits. I remember signing up for my first Tri a Tri, which is a mini Triathlon thinking I was an athlete to find out maybe I wasn’t, but training for this life altering event changed everything. Since then, I have completed ½ marathons, even the 30k Around the Bay Race several times, feeling the healthiest I ever have. And just recently finished my 2nd Marathon!
So changing mine and my family’s eating habits has changed our lives, and living a healthier and active life feels so much better! With 14 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer, I can guide you and your family to a more active, healthier and happier life. I have changed many lives in the last 14 years. I have been employed at a fitness centre full time for 10 years, and now coming out into the community to work with families, Special Olympic swim team and soon with the MS Society. I have people that are no longer pre-diabetic, they have lowered blood pressure, are now hormonally balanced, have become stronger, and have had many women achieve goals that they would only dream and talk about. I have instructed Boot camp classes, Toning, Stretch Classes and Older Adult Class, and nutritional training. I am a Canfitpro Certified Personal Trainer, Canfitpro Certified Fitness Instructor, Canfitpro Certified Older Adult Specialist And CPR.
I continually attend workshops, lectures, and conferences to keep myself up to date on the newest tips and tricks to help you achieve your goals in the safest and healthiest way.
I train everyone as an individual, looking at your goals and abilities to help you achieve your healthy lifestyle. I can help you achieve your goals in a way that is realistic and sustainable.
I can teach you to help change your family to a healthier lifestyle in a realistic way. I will work with you as an individual or with a spouse or partner/friend to achieve your goals. I can work with you and your family; teaching healthier ways of eating without depriving yourselves, incorporate activity into your lives, and even make your current activities way more effective!
I can help if you have injuries such as; shoulders, hips, knees, lower back, or feet. If any of these injuries are preventing you from your desired healthy lifestyle, I can help.
